My interests are in Iris subgenus Limniris section Lophiris. My research will focus on the following questions:
- Identification and taxonomy of section Lophiris.
- What historical processes must be invoked to explain the distribution pattern?
- What is the relationship between the species with crested versus ridged sepals?
- What is the origin of crest? Which tissue(s) of the sepal is responsible for the crest?
