The wild lilacs or buck brushes (Ceanothus spp.) comprise one of the more important groups of shrubs in the scrubland communities of Southern California. This guided Garden walk will showcase many species and cultivated varieties of Ceanothus in the Garden’s collection and participants will come to appreciate Ceanothus for their abundance and diversity.
