This field trip will offer the opportunity to explore the diverse habitats and plant life as we transverse both urban and wild areas of the Santa Monica Mountains. Join Lorrae Fuentes on a hunt for her favorite plants, both common and rare. Trek through the coastal wetlands to canyon fern grottos, riparian, chaparral and grasslands in this diverse floristic region. We will also have the opportunity to see varying stages of fire recovery of coastal chaparral habitat. Transportation provided by RSABG.
