The world of the Gabrieleño-Tongva, indigenous peoples of the Los Angeles basin, is filled with an abundance of native plants that are collected and prepared for food, medicine and basketry work. Join Tongva tribal member Mark Acuña as he tours you through the Garden to observe plants used by the Tongva and talks about how your own garden can become a traditional “native” native plant garden.
