Volunteers working in nursery

RSABG Volunteers belong to the “Volunteer Organization” at the Garden. Active membership in the organization requires the following:

• Completing the Volunteer Training Course

• Contributing a minimum of 40 hours per year

• Paying annual dues of $15 to support the Volunteer Organization

Through presentations by Garden staff and veteran volunteers, hands-on activities and excursions into our 86 acres, the Volunteer Training Course will give you a thorough overview of the Garden and introduce you to the many volunteer opportunities. The next training is scheduled for Fall 2008. Interested persons may be invited to join the Volunteer Organization and serve as provisional volunteers before taking the training.
