Volunteer placement is arranged based on your interests, skills and schedule, as well as the current needs of the Garden. There are a number of opportunities in the areas of education, horticulture, visitor services, administration, research development and more.
Through years of listening to volunteers’ experiences, we are confident that they encounter intellectual, physical, and emotional benefits at the Garden. They share an enriching fellowship with each other, nurtured by common interests and cooperative efforts toward reaching shared goals. We currently have approximately 215 volunteers, over 50 who have been here for 10 years or more, and over 20 who have been here for longer than 20 years.
