ABSTRACT.-Fifty species of Dryopteris, belonging to three subgenera and ten sections, are known to be in cultivation of the United States. Descriptions, cultural requirements and keys to the sections and the species are provided as an aid to the identification of these species. An addendum lists recently reported species not included in the main treatment. The species included are:
