Merhaba from Yenisihir 5/19/11

Today we organized our belongings and traveled to Bursa to return the car.  I had checked last night and the airport is about 5 km from Yenisihir and about 50 km from Bursa. Since our plane leaves at 7:00 tomorrow morning so we decided to spend the night in Yenisihir.  We stopped in Yenisihir and found a hotel that was quite new, a little sterile and almost empty.  It was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful so we were pleased.  We left our luggage and drove to Bursa.  Initially the staff was suspicious and anxiously asked us if we were family.  I think they thought we planned to rent the room by the hour.

We were glad that we left early for Bursa because we were caught in a lightening, rain and hailstorm along the highway.  Everyone including us pulled over for about 40 minutes until it changed to only a downpour.  We had our usual challenge finding the car rental office in the town of Bursa.  The rental agency helped us find the bus to Yenisihir so we were back in the town in time for a late dinner.
