Events at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden

Throughout the year, the Garden offers events that celebrate our connections to California native plants and the environment. These festivals, shows, concerts and other events provide new ways to experience the Garden. Some events are free with general admission; if events are ticketed, you may purchase your tickets online through the registration links below or at our Admissions Kiosk.

The Garden is a Blue Star Museum, offering free admission to their nation's active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve in recognition of their service. Veterans and their immediate family are also extended free admission.

Every Friday in June | 5 pm - 8 pm

Enjoy the best local craft beer in the company of butterflies at California's native biergarten! Each evening features rotating brews, music and access to the California Butterfly Pavilion. One drink included with admission. Additional drinks and refreshments are available for purchase.

Must be 21 or older to attend and must show proper identification. Children will not be admitted even if parent or guardian is present.

Everyday, research expands our knowledge of plants and reveals the stories they have to tell - graduate students at RSABG work to uncover these secrets and piece together a fuller, richer picture of our botanical world. Explore plants through the eyes of these adventurous students and learn about their remarkable journeys and discoveries. This outdoor exhibition showcases these students and living plants that they study.

Brew Wild Beer Festival

Celebrate our California native plant and beer species at the second annual Brew Wild Beer Festival! California is one of the most biodiverse regions in the world and has one of the highest concentrations of craft breweries in the nation. Join us at the festival where we combine the two! California craft breweries are collaborating with Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden to create beer that incorporates California native plants, grown and harvested at our Garden. From luscious black sage to earthy juniper, zesty pine needles to delectable hummingbird sage, discover the incredible flavors of California in expertly crafted brews. Taste them all at the Brew Wild Beer Festival! Enjoy live music, food trucks and biergartens all in the beautiful outdoors of California's Native Garden. Tickets are $45 per person and include admission to the festival at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden from 4 pm- 8 pm on July 6, a 3 oz tasting glass and 15 pours. Premier parking is available for reservation at an additional $10. This parking will be closest to the Garden grounds. To reserve parking inside the Garden, please purchase a VIP ticket. Tickets are limited and this event will sell out.

VIP tickets are $75 and include all the benefits of general admission as well as reserved parking in the Garden's parking lot, early admission at 3 pm, an exclusive VIP section and exclusive access to the Butterfly Pavilion with live butterflies. This is an amazing way to support Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden and get the most out of the Brew Wild Beer Festival. Only 200 VIP tickets available.

Discover the serenity and beauty of the Garden in summer with less of the heat! Enjoy extended evening hours every Saturday in July and August (except for July 6). The Garden will remain open until 8 pm each of these Saturdays. General admission still applies. Last entry is at 7:30 pm. For more information, please contact info@rsabg.org.

Join us for this special day celebrating teachers and the many educational opportunities at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden! Teachers and their immediate families will be admitted at no charge.

Teachers who attend have the first opportunity to schedule school programs and tours for the upcoming school year.

Teachers, please have ID or documentation of your teaching status available for check in.

Tickets for events are available for purchase at the Admissions Kiosk or online in advance. Ticket price includes parking (unless otherwise noted) and admission to the Garden. Limited tickets are available, advance ticket purchase is recommended. No refunds or ticket exchanges. Events are subject to change. In the event of cancellation due to weather, tickets are valid for one (1) complimentary admission to Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden during regular business hours, expiring one year from date (not valid for special or ticketed events).
