Events at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden

Throughout the year, the Garden offers events that celebrate our connections to California native plants and the environment. These festivals, shows, concerts and other events provide new ways to experience the Garden. Some events are free with general admission; if events are ticketed, you may purchase your tickets online through the registration links below or at our Admissions Kiosk.

Fall Plant Sale Pre-Sale & Happy Hour: Acorn Member Event

Acorn Members are invited to an exclusive pre-sale and happy hour at Grow Native Nursery, two days before we open to the public.

Shop our vast inventory of California native plants, receive free consultations with experts and enjoy an open bar with light refreshments.

Celebrate the seasonal opening of Grow Native Nursery at the Fall Plant Sale! This event is scheduled at the perfect time for planting your native garden. Thousands of unusual and hard-to-find native and California-friendly plants will be available, most grown in our own nursery. The preliminary plant list will be posted two weeks before the sale. It will be updated frequently as we prep for the season, so be sure to check our website inventory often! Saturday, October 19 is a free day at the Garden - in addition to great deals on our native plants at Grow Native Nursery, receive free admission to explore the Garden!

Acorn Festival

This family event is a celebration of our connections to California native plants and the Native American peoples that tended California for millennia. NativeAmerican tribal leaders and culture keepers will demonstrate and share these connections through ceremonial dance, art and activities! Food will be available for purchase. There will be a small material fee associated with certain crafts.

The event is Free with General Admission or Membership.

Green Friday: Plant Sale & Free Admission Day

Turn your Black Friday “Green” with free admission to the Garden and great deals at our Grow Native Nursery (GNN)! GNN will be having a one-day only sale where Members receive 15% off and the General Public receives 10% off all Nursery inventory.

Tickets for events are available for purchase at the Admissions Kiosk or online in advance. Ticket price includes parking (unless otherwise noted) and admission to the Garden. Limited tickets are available, advance ticket purchase is recommended. No refunds or ticket exchanges. Events are subject to change. In the event of cancellation due to weather, tickets are valid for one (1) complimentary admission to Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden during regular business hours, expiring one year from date (not valid for special or ticketed events).
