GENERAL VISITING INFO

We recommend that public visitors pre-purchase tickets online. Please bring your digital tickets or a printout of tickets to the Kiosk. Members may enter the Garden without a reservation.

Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. Garden hours change seasonally: 
January-February - 8 AM - 5 PM
March - 8 AM - 6 PM
April & May: 8 AM - 7 PM
June - August: 8 AM - 8 PM
September: 8 AM - 7 PM
October: 8 AM - 6 PM
November-December: 8 PM - 5 PM

CalBG is closed on January 1st, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and December 25th. The Garden is occasionally closed for special events or due to inclement weather.

Visitors using admit one passes to enter the Garden do not need to make a reservation - please remember to fill out the requested information on the back of the guest pass prior to your arrival.

Please note: in order to protect our visitors and living collection, running/jogging is not permitted on Garden paths/trails.

PARKING AND TRANSIT

The Garden is located at 1500 N. College Avenue in Claremont, CA. Parking is free in the CalBG main lot or as directed during garden events. Bike parking is available on the north side of the main parking lot.

California Botanic Garden is accessible by bus (5 minute walk from the closest stop) and train (c. 20 minute walk or short bus ride from the Claremont Metrolink Station). Click HERE for transit options.
